Personal Data Processing

The operation of the OneUp website requires the collection of your personal data. Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject). When you contact us via email, we may process your personal information such as name and email address. The legal basis for the processing is legitimate interest pursued by OneUp. This information will be used exclusively for correspondence with you. No data subject is obliged to provide personal data as part of using the website. However, there are services (such as "Contact us") for which personal data is required. Without this data, the desired service cannot be provided. Only the data that is actually required is collected.

Data Access

Within OneUp, access to personal data is granted to relevant personnel. Clear business distributions and authorisation concepts have been set up for this purpose.
Personal data may be transferred to other recipients if this is required by law.

Data Transfer to a Third Country

All personal data will only be processed within the European Economic Area (EEA).

OneUp retains your information for as long as needed:

  1. to conduct business with you;
  2. as needed for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy; and
  3. as necessary to comply with its legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce any agreements.

Data Security

OneUp takes appropriate organisational and technical precautions in accordance with the state of the art to protect the security of data against destruction, intentional or accidental manipulation, loss and against access by unauthorised persons.
While we make diligent efforts to maintain a consistently high standard of due diligence, we cannot provide an absolute guarantee that the information you share with us over the internet will be entirely secure from unauthorised viewing or usage by others.
Please note that we cannot assume any liability for the disclosure of information due to data transmission errors or unauthorised access by third parties (such as hacking of email accounts or phones, interception of faxes) that are beyond our control.
Our commitment is to swiftly identify and report any potential data breaches to both you and the relevant supervisory authority. This includes providing details of the affected data categories, ensuring that timely action is taken to address the situation and mitigate the risks.

E-Mails

OneUp uses the e-mail address provided by the data subject to reply by e-mail with the requested information. As soon as OneUp sends an e-mail, the transmission is first encrypted (using TLS encryption). If the recipient does not support encryption, the e-mail will be sent unencrypted. OneUp does not pass on any e-mail addresses to third parties, unless separately agreed with the data subject.
OneUp retains e-mails that relate to a contractual relationship and does not send unsolicited e-mails. If you receive unsolicited emails purporting to be from OneUp, they are fake and should be deleted.

Data Subject’s Rights

In accordance with Article 12 – 23 of the GDPR, all data subjects are conferred the following rights:

  • The right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing: There will be no automated decision-making and profiling on this website. However, if OneUp may do so in an individual case, the data subject will be informed of this and their explicit consent will be sought.
  • The right to withdraw consent at any time: If OneUp processes personal data on the basis of consent given by him or her, this consent may be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
